QQI celebrates a successful renewal of EQAR registration

We are delighted to announce that QQI’s application to EQAR for renewal of its QA agency registration has been approved, following a successful  ENQA review in February. The European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) lists those agencies that are deemed and confirmed to be substantially comply with the European Standards and Guidelines for Higher Education (ESG).

QQI’s inclusion on the register is valid until 30 May 2029,  QQI - Quality and Qualifications Ireland - Agency - EQAR. 

Relisting on EQAR is very important, in QQI’s standing and status as a European quality assurance agency and for our higher education institutions. It also allows QQI to assist Irish HEIs in applying the European Approach to Joint Programmes for the accreditation of programmes as part of the European University Alliances. 

QQI has also committed to publishing all institutional review reports on the Database of External Quality Assurance Results (DEQAR), DEQAR QQI listing.
