Forum for community and voluntary providers established

QQI has established a Community / Voluntary Sector Provider Forum for current providers of programmes leading to QQI awards within the community and voluntary sector. This forum is organised by QQI and led by the providers within the community and voluntary sector. 

As part of the forum, providers will take turns sharing good practice taking place. The forum will provide a space for providers to discuss these areas of good practice so that a positive community of practice can be built. Providers can learn from each other and others for the benefit of the overall sector, the individuals working within it and the learners.

The first forum will take place online on the 8th of October 2024 with attendance by invitation only. The theme of this session is programme validation and there will be presentations from An Cosán, Irish Deaf Society and QQI’s Head of Quality Assurance, Walter Balfe.
