QQI is delighted to announce details of the national and international experts contributing to our upcoming conference ‘Leading and learning in a changing landscape’ on Thursday, 21st November at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre in Dublin 8.

Professor Danny Liu, University of Sydney will give a keynote address on ‘CRAFTing our way towards a future with generative AI’ where he will explore the CRAFT model (Culture, Rules, Access, Familiarity, Trust) in approaching the implications of generative AI on education. Danny will be joined by Irish-based colleagues and learners, including Professor Alan Smeaton, DCU, on a panel to discuss generative AI developments in Irish tertiary education.

Dr Irene Glendinning, formerly of Coventry University, will be with us to discuss academic integrity as we mark 5 years since the establishment of the National Academic Integrity Network. This will be followed by a report on the evaluation of the NAIN and a panel discussion chaired by Billy Kelly, NAIN Chair.

Professor Veronica Campbell, President, South East Technological University, will be reflecting on institutional transformation at Ireland’s most recently established TU. Professor Campbell will be joined by senior leaders in considering approaches to the changing landscape across Irish tertiary education.
